I continually strive for excellence, while not forgetting the needs and expectations of my clients. I interview my clients to learn as much as I can about their personality, so I can reflect that in my work.

My goal is to create photographs that are works of art. To achieve that goal I continually seek out opportunities to learn from the masters.

I specialize in weddings, senior portraits, children and family portraits

I have over 20 years experience in professional photography. I am presently very involved with the Pennsylvania Professional Photographers Association.

I have taken many courses over the years including, courses at Juniata College, Penn State, Triangle Institute of Photography, and the PPA of PA.

Personal History: I have been a resident of Huntingdon my entire life, I went to a one room school house in Cornpropst Mills until it was closed in 1964.Received the Physical Education award in junior high.  I was a Bearcat cheerleader in high school. I have been teaching aerobic classes for the past 20 years. I've been a photographer since 1980 and started my business in 1983 (the name MJEMS comes from my initials). In 1982 I married my husband Burgess. Together will built the studio we now have in our back yard. When I'm not photographing you can probably find me on a golf course.
